Desperate & working toward success

At the end of last Sept 2009, I weighed 142, but by the end of October I weighed around 160. I think it was because of some health problems and medications that I started taking. WELL it didn't stop there, the next mont I kept gaining, & sometimes it would take a week break & then another 5 in a week. I kept thinking it would stop, but didn't. I started trying to exercise more this past few week & still was gaining; so now it is March 15 and about a week ago my weight peaked at 190lbs. So panicked as I was, and about 5 days ago I started including an insulin resistance diet - now my weight is around 185lbs.
I am determined to find out what will work for this body to make me even thinner and more toned than before -- I need to solve this mystery & I need to feel better about myself.
I turn 45yrs in May, & I want to not be depressed & feel great about myself!!!
