It's crazy how it feels like I've been on my diet for so long, instead of just on my second day.  Could it be because I've been on so many for so many years?  Possibly, the cause is how tired I seem to be today.   I suppose that's because I was bad & only got 5 1/2 hrs sleep.   If only schools could start a little later in the day to help with my night-owl habit of staying up late & wanting to sleep late in return.  Oh well, I suppose I'm not the only person on the planet, so it doesn't revolve around me.....bummer. lol  I guess the main thing is, I've known  for years how to lose weight & even been slightly successful, but I seem to have a slight discipline problem with myself.  It's weird how I know I have a responsibility to my children, to be firm & act with discipline when it's necessary for their own good.  Yet when faced with the need to discipline myself, I seem to temporarily take leave of my senses, throw caution to the wind, and act like a 5 yr old in an ice cream shop. (yes, ice cream, I'm not much on candy stores)   I have to say that I really like the fact that this site has so much information on so many foods.  In the past I would write all my calorie, fat & carb intake in a little journal, just like a good girl.  The problem would be that sometimes I'd be in a rush & I'd barely have time to get the food fixed, much less look for all these numbers AND have to write them down.  Being able to type in what I ate & (almost always) being able to have all that handy information just pop up, is definitely a HUGE plus for my attention span.   My next big hurdle is going to be reminding myself that getting exercise, no matter how much or little time I can spend on it, is the key.  How appropriate that when you work your butt off, no matter how you do it, the last thing you want to do is cancel it out by stuffing yourself on that wonderful, creamy, decadant......ummm, what was I saying.......oh yes, we DON'T want to stuff on cheesecake.  Really, we don't.   We just need a little more time to let the stone around that statement solidify.  Well, I've rambled enough and haven't really said too much that meant anything lol.   If anybody made it through this, thank you for your patience & your time.  Hope your journey is going good, or your destination is bliss.  Have a great day.   Kimberlea
