Day 3: St. Patty's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Okay, so I wake up this morning, and went to get dressed. I open my closet, and my drawers, and realize yet another year has come and I still do not own a single green thing. Nothing I own even has a substantial amout of green on it! So I tied a green ribbon in my hair, and prepared to face the day. Then I go downstair to cook breakfast, because I hear you're supposed to eat as soon as you wake up to boost your metabolism. And there is literally nothing to eat. Like NO breakfast food, whatsoever. There's not even bread for toast. No fruit, cereal, yogurt--nothing. So, and I hate myself for this, but I had a brownie and a glass of milk. Then, since my dad was working all day (meaning no store trips!) I didn't eat again till 4:00 p.m. Mind you, "breakfast" was at 10 a.m. So, I started to get a wee bit pekkish. Finally, though, we went to the store and got some good food, and I was happy.
Oh! But the best part of my day was when my mom brought home a special St. Patty's Day surprise...GREEN bagels! Yay!! And as I sat down with my toasted shamrock bagel, tucked myself in with a green blanket, and watched The Luck of the Irish, I felt content with my day. :-]
