Eat To Live, Don't Live To Eat

A few months later....

Haven't updated in a while, things are doing alright.  Settled in @ the new place, after messing around with the Orel landlord...ended up paying for things I didn't feel should have been charged, but it's great to be rid of that nasty place.  We've been  3 months free of roaches!  It sucked so bad dealing with them.  Even Jeremy's super clean powers did not keep them from oozing out of every imaginable crevice.  Yuck!

So far, I've flaked on my first attempt to get myself in better shape.  Rount 2 is about a week into play, and there seem to be improvements.  Slow and steady wins the race, I suppose.  I occasionally hit the free fitness center, but not enough to brag.  Right now, I am still too lazy.  I'm going to be diligent about charting my calorie intake, and see how well I can mange my weight, just by keeping an eye on what I eat.  If I am unhappy with the results, then it will motivate me to get up off of my lazy bum.  And if I am already excited about dropping a few pounds, then maybe it'll super charge the results.  Either way, I know it's important to make sure that I don't spend the entire portion of my evening vegitating on the couch!
We'll see how things pan out.
