I think that everyone ought to read the Natural Health Magazine, May/April 2010 issue article Sync With Your Cycle.  It has made so much sense to me.  I have known like probably alot of women my age, that around my monthly there exists different phases. I used to think there was PMS, period, and nothing.  But I realize more and more, especially the more consistent I keep my behavior and eating patterns, that there are definitely days I can count on being tired, energized, "frisky", focused, and fuzzy.  This article explains the roles of estrogen and progesterone, what days each are released, and the effect on the body.  I believe now that my sudden non-loss days and days are directly related to the fact that I am right now in the height of the progesterone cycle.  Reading the article, and researching this new information, has allowed me to recognize that this is the way it is these two weeks every month, and empowered me to know what I need to do to keep the scale moving in the right direction.  I am learning more and more that this whole thing of healthy living requires that we listen to and honor the signals our bodies are sending.  I will respond likewise and report back how it goes this week.  I predict success.
