All you can eat sushi

I love Asian food - ALL of it. Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, etc! I love it all.

My sister took me out for lunch yesterday - a belated b-day celebration. She suggested we go to an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet place. We've been there before. We always eat a ton when we're there. I made a lame attempt to find somewhere else to go. I really wasn't in the mood for sushi, but instead of suggesting that we go back to my place and make something nice for lunch, I agreed with her plan. Bad idea.

Considering how much I ate, I should have gained more weight, but strangely the effects were minimal in the way of pounds. The thing that's really bothering me is that I went from just under 220 (I was at 219.6 lbs yesterday) to 220.4. I had been so happy to get into the 210s and now I'm back in the 220s. Groan.

I know it's not that big of a deal. I'm right on the edge of that threshold so I'm likely to bounce between the two a few times before finally leaving the 220s behind me. But still...
