How the decision was made.

Well, my real motivation started one week ago today. I have been getting chest pain every day for a 3 months up till then, but that day the pain just wouldn't go away. So once again I head to the hospital in hopes that they figure something out this time. Well, they did. It was a heart attach, and I had a blockage in a major artery of the heart. They were able to fix it with the insertion of a stent, but now I need to make some life altering changes. 1 I needed to quit smoking, and 2 I need to lose weight and eat healthier. So my journey to a healthier and happier me started yesterday when I left the hospital, have been smoke free since 4/7/2010, and on a diet since then too, but the true test comes now that I am out of the hospital and actually have to choose the right stuff for myself and am not restricted to a hospital menu. Well, join me for my journey and wish me luck....Till next time.
Chris
P.S. Some info...I am 33 years old, and 274 pounds and was smoking 1 and 1/2 packs a day.
