Day 8 raw

It has been 8 days since I went raw vegan. I cannot express enough how GOOD I feel! I went running today and I wasn't fatigued as much as I usually am when I run. Actually I still had tons of energy!
Today a friend of mine wants to meet for lunch. I just ate so that I wouldn't be tempted by the other foods. I might grab a salad while there. I really don't want to go but I don't know what else to do.
I know I can do this. I feel so good raw and I've been around a lot of delicious cooked foods without temptation. I just don't find them appealing any more.
I'm reading a book called 80/10/10 and it's about a low fat raw vegan diet. The author uses a lot of science to back what he has to say. From comparing us to other animals (to show that we're not supposed to eat what they eat...like lions with meat for example) to quoting actual scientific/medical studies.
It's really interesting so far. I'm only on the second chapter and I have to say that everything he has said so far really resonates with me.
