Do the Math

It's all about the math.  An article in the paper today reminded me that the key to losing weight is to burn more than you take in.  That's it.  It really is that simple.  I have attained healthy.  I did that by exercising and eating more fruits and vegetables and less processed food.  My blood work is vastly improved as far as triglycerides, cholesterol and sugar.  For that I can be proud.  It's time for me to start being honest about my intake so I can reach my goal weight.  Most of the time when I walk through the kitchen I grab something.....raisins, granola, pretzels or whatever is handy.  That stuff never reaches my food diary.  If I want to lose the last 20 pounds, I am going to need to get serious and honest with myself, so my goal this week is to put into my journal, every morsel that enters my body.  I can do this!
