Day 5

Last night after the kids were in bed I was "so hungry" I couldn't stand it. I knew I'd eaten well all day and had enough fat for the day (that's what triggers my feeling hungry, not eating enough fat in a day) so I used the five minute rule.
I sat down to watch TV and brought two important things with me: a bottle of seltzer and some knitting. I told myself that I would sit on the couch and if I was still really hungry after the first commercial break I could have something to eat. I drank some of the seltzer and started to watch TV and knit. I had some more seltzer and by the first commercial break I wasn't really very hungry, so I knit some more and by the second commercial break I wasn't hungry at all.
So, I didn't eat anything and I lost a half a pound yesterday.
