Man!  For the second week in a row Shabbat has kicked my dieting butt!

It's true, I eat more at dinner than usual, but I plan for it and my calorie/fat/etc. numbers aren't out of line.  I think the problem may be 1) I eat much later at night than usual - between dinner and the food at Temple after services and 2) I also am up earlier on Saturday morning than usual and therefore weigh myself a couple hours earlier on Saturdays.

It can't be a half a glass of wine that's throwing me 1.5 pounds off.

It's not increased salt because I didn't eat anything store-bought (just fruit salad at Temple).

I'm annoyed because yesterday, since I weighed 170.5, I ordered my "congratulations on weighing 170" incentive.  Now I've got two pounds to plough through before it gets here if I want to use it right away.

I ordered Philosophy's Makeup Optional skin care kit.  I want new clothes, but I'm unwilling to pay good money for clothing that I'll only be able to wear for a short while.  At 160 I buy myself an awesome pair of shoes (no idea which ones) and then at 150, when my BMI is below 25, I start buying myself clothing.

But now, I have to start my day - Bat Mitzvah in the morning, Cub Scout float decorating in the afternoon and then working on my novel all the rest of the day and evening.
