Things I've realized

Why not use this site to it's full potential?

I've been using this site for well over a month now, and I love it. What I don't understand is why people join the site and don't use it to it's full potential. For a free site it's better than almost any pay site I've been with. The ability, to track/add/create any type of food/recipe, or create complete workout programs, is awesome. I spend probably about an 30-60 minutes a day tracking my diet and workouts. If you don't track your diet, you don't really know what you're taking in and where you could be making mistakes. When I first started tracking my foods, I was eating more than I was burning, within two weeks I had dropped my calorie intake significantly and was eating my proper ratios. Granted there are times when I get busy and just don't have the time to track my diet. Just recently I feel completely off the diet wagon, and it showed on the scale, 5lbs gained in just a couple of days, because I wasn't following my diet like I should. Keeping it tracked keeps me in check. As well for your workouts, if you're not tracking your workouts, how do you know if you're getting better, if you're getting stronger. I can look back through my workouts and see where it started to get easier to perform my exercises, or where I was able to push harder and further. It lets me know it's time to step up my workouts and push my body further. I can understand that sometimes all you want to do is try a new workout program and this site has thousands of them, but if you took the time to sign up, why not take the time to use the site to it's full potential. Anyone else agree?
