About me: Weight has been a challenge all my life. I like to eat. I imagine I have all the classic issues of emotional eating, stress eating and snacking when I am just plain bored. I am a professional sitting at a desk with a computer and phone makes up 90% of the time I spend working which usually is about 50 hours per week.
As 2010 began lead a very a lethargic lifestyle. My usual time away from a computer was filled with watching TV, eating and sleeping. Overt the years I evolved to despise working around the house, yard work and any other activity that did not indulge my lethargy.
There have stark realities I have to accept. Living this way is damaging my body, negatively impacting my relationships and reducing my life span. My family has a history of heart disease. Not many of the men from my Father's side live much past 70 and their final years are burdened with poor health.
The truth I have to embrace is that I can do something about it. I must and can change.
