About me: I have been heavy ever since my "baby" was born 19 years ago. I was 36 and he was an "oops". I found it impossible to lose the baby fat and have been yo-yo ing ever since, losing and gaining the same 20 pounds, but not being able to drop any more than that.
This year I was diagnosed with extreme RA bordering on Lupus and have been having a heck of a time even moving let alone exercising. However, my husband and I are ready to retire and we want to travel even more than we do now, so I want to shed some of thies excess weight so it is not so hard on my joints.
I have found the schedule for the new pool opening in town (we didn't have one before) and hope to swim 3 days a week. I am also looking at joining the local Curves and doing that 2 days a week.
I have managed to keep 7 pounds off for the past year, so now I hope to keep the downward trend going.
