Still at a standstill

I had my colonoscopy last week. Dropped 3 lbs doing the prep but it came right back. No cancer--yay! This week I had cryosurgery for cervical dysplasia and had to take my cat to the vet. I have kept up with my exercise but the diet has not been up to par. I have one more major doctor appointment coming up, and I work a lot next week. I need to get with the program!

Frustration

After faithfully sticking to my diet and exercise for nearly 4 weeks I only lost 2-3 lbs. I was frustrated. For the past week, I have been lax about even recording what I have eaten.

Tomorrow I have to do a bowel prep and Tuesday a colonoscopy. I'm sure I will lose a few pounds, and I am going to use it as a cleanse to start afresh.

Still doing well!

This blog drives me crazy.....twice now I've typed and then lost it.....GRRRR

I didn't exercise yesterday because of multiple appointments, but today I did my Power Pairs workout. I did tire out before doing cardio--I need to do my cardio FIRST!

So Far So Good!

At first I was a bit discouraged today as I didn't drink any alcohol yesterday and I still weighed 195 first thing this morning. However, after going to the bathroom, I was down to 193.6!! This I can handle. That is almost 2 lbs lost this week and I am pleased with this.

I'm also proud of myself as I stuck to my exercising each day off. In fact today I did both cardio and weights at the gym AND parked as far as possible from the two stores I had to go to and walked. I'm a bit sor...

Back On the Wagon!

I just resumed entering my meals and tracking my weight on 12/31/11. Between not watching my diet and not exercising regularly, and drinking too much alcohol, I have gained 30 lbs since I was last a regular here. Menopause has not helped either.

I'm setting more reasonable goals this time--my first goal is to lose 20 lbs in 2 months. I plan to do this with a limited carb plan (125g daily) that also limits calories (1400 daily) and fat (less than 30%). I will also exercise every d...

Getting back at it!

Well, I haven't posted in forever but I have kept up with my healthy eating and am down to under 150!! I started close to 180 last fall!

Where I am lacking is the exercise department. I walk the dogs and am active at work, hardly ever sitting, but I need to do some strength training and some REAL cardio!

I start a new job on Sept. 17 and it will afford me more full days off. I will work longer days when I do work, but will have 3 to 4 days a week completely off-- no...

Got My Tree Up

In addition to all that exercise today I got my tree up. Since my stuff was down in storage and my apt is on the 2nd floor, that meant alot of extra activity going up and down the steps to bring up all of my Christmas boxes.

Great Workout!

Well, my workout was awesome today and I feel great. I wish I had a gym at my Mom's where I spend Monday and Tuesday nights. But hopefully I will take this momentum and at least do the things I can do without equipment.

Best Laid Plans

I fully intended to walk to the gym and do the elliptical today but since nothing happened the way I had planned, it never happened. My only exercise today was walking the dog. Better than nothing but  not what it should be. I HAVE to exercise tomorrow because I don't get a chance Monday or Tuesday except for calisthenics.

Well, I wanted to get back on the bandwagon today but instead I carbed out. I REALLY need to get back on the wagon! Today was a lazy day that did not develop the way I had planned. Tomorrow I vow will be better.
