Day 3

I wish I could come up with a clever title for all my blogs.  ~le sigh~

My workout efforts yesterday have resulted in sore stomach, thigh and arm muscles today.  I'm not sure if I'm supposed to push the envelope and do more toning excercises today?
If I lose 3 lbs a week,  it should take me 13 months to lose my weight and get to my goal of 135...13 months!

That seems like a collosal challenge...almost too hard to imagine.

Day 2

I realize everyone has to start somewhere...but it's day 2 and I am frustrated.  

I have "skinny dreams" ... you know the type...you picture yourself running into old friends and wowing them all...I take it one step further...I picture myself sitting with Oprah, sharing my weightloss secrets...
But since her show is done after this year,  I guess that pipe dream will have to go down with her.

Day 1, Week 1...Bored and Hungry

Today I begin an epic adventure.  Wait...haven't I been here before?  Haven't I been here a MILLION times before.  Starting a "diet".  But we aren't allowed to call it a "diet" anymore.  It's an "eating plan", it's a "way of life", it's "eating smart", "eating to live, not living to eat."  Let's call a spade a spade people,  for now, at this junction, when I am battling a carb ...
