This weekend I am having the family over and hosting for my mother's birthday.. I tried to fight it..I ate some crazy foods and I was catching up with the family, so I did not work out either. I plan to make up for it tomorrow afternoon when we play some extreme tennis for a few hours.

I was really wanting some crunchy, starchy foods. I went ahead and gave in.. just choose the best "stuff" I could and I incorporated running for a full 45 minutes tonight. I have never ran for an entire 45 minutes and I had to push past wanting to stop the last 10 minutes. I just let go of a relationship that was not going anywhere ( I don't want marriage, but I at least wanted to be the girlfriend!) Thinking of that gave me some energy to get thru this.

Finally got on the scale today... I only lost 1 lbs!  I was a little surprised, but I think if I eat more consistently, the weight will come off. I know I should not expect to drop weight like the folks on biggest loser, however by next week I am going to see how it is going. I have some early days at work coming soon, so I will have time to make more "interesting" foods instead of the quick or prepared foods I usually eat. On to the next day!

Today was slow and easy going...I am already struggling with my food intake. I have never really kept a food journal, and I am finding it is hard to eat between 1200 and 1300 calories a day. I feel so full and I feel a little bloated from all the water. I am going to stick it out and not complain.. maybe this is a sign of positive things. I am also taking the night off from working out...Back at the gym hard tomorrow.

Mondays are always hard and hectic. I have a good job that keeps me so busy (I am talking all day) so the only good thing about Monday is I will never over-eat on this day! I got home late, but still managed to walk/jog for a total of 45 minutes. I have not gotten on the scale yet to see if I am coming down any lbs...will check the scale Tuesday to see how it is going.

Woke up totally charged so I used that to my advantage. I was up and working out by 9 am. Did a 45 minute core body workout and then I jumped on treadmill to get a mile done. I better save some energy for my daughter so we can enjoy some outside time since the weather is so perfect. I am still getting the hang of this tracker and recording all the food!

Hello all. I have never blogged about anything before so I hope I am doing this right.. I am 13 lbs away from my dream weight of 120 lbs at 5'6". I have been in the 130s for a while now and I lost my motivation to lose anymore weight because I am surrounded by people who constantly point out I am at a "healthy" weight right now and need to quit trying to lose. I am looking for motivation and support from anyone who is close to their goal weight or might be in a similar situat...
