Happy to report that I lost 3 1/2 lbs this week for a total of 6 1/2 lbs in 3 weeks.  Glad that the scale is moving.  I have a long way to go but it feels great to see a little success.  I feel better anyway!  Hope everyone has a good night.  I was planning on writing more, but I have a boy that wants to be tucked in :)  G' Night!

Slow and steady....

So far, so good.  I managed to lose a pound last week even with the 4th of July holiday and attending a fish fry as well as a barbeque!  Happy about that!  Since I started back, I have lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks.  I am being more active and making better food choices.  My son is making better choices too which makes me extremely happy :D  Staying busy this summer is an understatement for me.  I am ready to relax a little before school starts back in August. ...

Finally, back again

Well, I am starting over again or at least picking up where I left off! I've been going to a weight loss group at church and am in the second week. I lost 2 pounds at my first weigh in. I am trying really hard to go about this in a healthy way this time so the weight will stay off. I am changing my lifestyle habits and hopefully my family's habits as well. Heading in to week 2...

Well, I've made it through week 1.  I'm interested to see the number on the scale tomorrow.  I know they say the first 10 pounds is water weight but I still want to see it go away!  We went to church today and I didn't eat any of the brownies being passed around the Sunday school room.  Not so long ago I would have had at least one.  Keeping the diet tracker on here really makes you think about eating something.  Sometimes I add things to see how it will affect...

A Beautiful Saturday

This is my first blog posting ever so hang in there.  I have been married for 10 years and have 2 beautiful boys (8&9).  I have struggled with my weight for my entire life and see my oldest son starting on the same path.  I know how hard it is and don't want that for him.  So, I'm trying to get our family to eat healthier and be more active.  I want to be a better example for him since what you do is just as important as what you say.&nb...
