ouch, slipped up!

So my hubby was off of work for 4 days and we ate like kings and queens for those days.  Yeah it was good food but I had way too many calories! It is amazing how many calories are in cheese and crackers and then while hanging out with friends i had 5 smirnoffs!  Dinner was pretty good pork chops, asparagus and mushroom caps with onions and cheese in them.  But this was just in the evening.  So now I am trying to get back on track and get back in the swing of things.  I d...

size 14 down from size 16!

So I have been working very hard for the last 3 weeks to get into my size 14 jeans again and I finally got back into them today!  That is such an exciting feeling when you put the smallest size pants that you have, back on.  I am going to start working very hard to get down into a size 12 now.  It may take me another month or more to get down to a size 12 but I am going to give it all i've got.  I want so badly to fit into a size 10 again but I know that I have a long ways to...

Day 3 of Week 3

Today has been going great!  I am a little tired today for some reason but yet I am getting a lot accomplished.  I am so anzious for this weekend to step on the scale to see my progress but yet I don't want to wish my days away.  Lol this is becoming a love hate relationship.  lol  Tomorrow is going to be the hardest day for me this week I think because my husband is going to be gone all day long and I will be bored and will have to keep myself occupied with other things...

A great day!

I am so excited to have made it through day 2 of week 3!  That is such an accomplishment for me in itself.  Although I have already been through ups and downs I believe that I had an excellent day today!!!  I ate very wisely counting my calories to make sure that when I did eat my french fries today that I didn't overdo it and when I had beer battered fish I didn't overdo it.  I loaded up on fresh vegetables such as celery and cucumbers and I felt great today!  I had a l...

Lifestyle change

So I started my life style change 2 weeks ago from yesturday and have been doing pretty good!  The only problem that I am having is learning what to eat and how to eat it.  For instance my initial goal was to lose 2 lbs a week.  So I started watching my calories and cut back my portions and did great!  But then I weighed myself on the following Monday and was astonished that I lost 4 lbs!  That's great!  But that is when it went down hill, at that point I lost view ...
