Calories Burned:  408 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Using a 6" step start stepping slowly to warm up.  After 2-3 min do a little stretching.   Begin stepping faster using arm motions that extend upwards beyond the head.  Small hand weights can also  be incorporated into this motion.  Intermediate step aerobics has more intensity than low-impact but not as much as high impact.  Your heart rate will increase, especially using the hand held weights!  Enjoy
