The thing with motivation is...
I'm studied human compulsive habits for a long time. And I can say that it all depends on how good will be the new thing you are doing. I mean that you can't just eat less and exercise (of course you can literally do that, but I mean in the long run). You need to find yourself a type of exercises related to something you love, to be in love with some kind of sports or hobby related to being in the shape. Because then you will have that magic endorphin fixation and get remotivation.
That's how I quit smoking, first I was using vape from vapehabitat and now after 3 years of trying I finally can meditate instead of smoking.
