Add One Quart (4 cups) of Water
1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt (optional)
Mix Together

Note: For a fruity oatmeal add chopped dried fruits such as apples, pears, plums, apricots, peaches, cherries or cranberries before cooking, about 1 to 2 tablespoons per serving. For Cinnamon Irish Oatmeal add 1 to 2 teaspoons cinnamon before cooking.

Turn on cooker, set timer to 3 hrs (180 minutes) & set temperature on low. Most slow cookers have a "warm setting" that automatically starts once the cooking is done. The warm setting will keep your oatmeal warm for at least hours.
