Hello to all my friends and fellow health seekers. I haven't blogged or logged in here for a couple of weeks now, but have still been on track. Have lost 12 pounds now and finally starting to feel that in my clothing a little bit. Still not enough for anyone else to notice, but that will come later. Wow, took some advice given me and upped my calories for a couple days and guess what? It worked! the weight has started decreasing again. In fact, I lost the 2# i put back on, plus 1/2 pound more! I think it's easy to get defeated and feel like the weight is just destined to stay on no matter what we do. Ugh! I think my body absolutely hates me! forgive me while I vent for a moment. well, what a week this has been so far. been putting in overtime at work and not getting home til late. almost too late to fix supper some nights. I refuse to stop and grab a quick bite or order pizza, so the kids usually start something for us and I finish it up when I get home. eating a little later than I would like to, but at least i'm eating well. Well, after 18 days, I finally cracked. I blamed it on stress at work and some really long hours this week, but bottom line, i made some bad choices today. Well, not much new to report. Been busy searching magazines and web for new recipes and finding some really interesting stuff out there. I have had so much fun cooking the past week or so. Wow, what a great day! everywhere I went today, I intentionally parked as far from the door as I could. The walking felt so good and for the first time, my legs didn't hurt! Well, had a very interesting learning day. Should have logged in my supper before I ate it so I could make some changes. Put me over my calories today but hopefully my walk will keep me at an even keel for tomorrow. This is such a learning process that I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I don't feel guilty and I have no regrets, just know that I won't be making pot roast again for a while.... lol. Here's to living healthy!

I have been using this site for just over a week now and am soooo amazed at the results I am seeing. What a difference just logging in food and seeing calories, carbs, proteins, etc. and how they work for or against my body.
