Well it's been a while since I last wrote in here, but all is very well. I have lost nearly 20 pounds and haven't felt this good since I don't know when.
I had to go to an allergist and discovered that I have a severe allergy to a fairly common preservative (sulphates), so that cut out alot of foods that I had allowed myself on my diet. Great!
After a day of feeling super-sorry for myself, I came up a new diet plan which allowed me a bit more calories with...

ok...so here I am, one month in and 7 pounds lighter!! The calorie counter has really kept me on track and I am feeling fine. The "in-control" feeling I have is because I'm not following a fad diet & comparing myself to anyone else. My jeans feel looser and I am actually feeling good about myself again...now to lose the remaining 25 pounds.
I know I'm the only one reading this, so KEEP AT IT... YOU ROCK!!! xo

Yesterday & today have been quite stressful; I found out yesterday that my school funding has been cut in half due to government cutbacks because my province is hosting the Olympics next month AND a receiving massive car repair bill today, I have realized how much I have used food to comfort me. I am food tripping like crazy right now, so I think I'm gonna have a seriously long power yoga session tonight and get my mind off everything....xo

Counting all my calories per day is easier than I anticipated. The diet tracker on this site is great, but I'm having a bit of a challenge with the workout tracker. I'm a novice Yogi, and my yoga routine doesn't quite jibe with the tracker...any help or suggestions would be rad. Hope everyone is well & standing firm on their resolutions. xo

Ok...I've done my first day of counting calories and I'm within my goal of 1500 calories per day with my meals, so yeah, I'm chuffed.This blog will probably only be read by me, so...YOU GO GIRL!! It's pretty exciting to actually be taking charge of my diet & have a realistic (?) goal of losing 5 lbs per month until I lose 30. The weight loss yoga every other day and a calorie reduced diet will hopefully reshape my 39 year old bod. Here's hoping anyways...xo
