Day 1- getting Back on the Horse

What can I say? I am fat. For someone who was an athlete in college and is responsible for the fitness of a high school football team, I am embarassed. I don't believe that I have ever weighed 240 pounds.
I have three children - all boys- very active boys. I want to be there for them and be an example for them as they grow up. I need to change my life, and my lifestyle. This weight did not come rapidly. It has been an accumulation of 13 years of sedentary lifestyle and bad choices. No smoking, but drinking too many sodas and the proverbial fast food lunches.
I WILL MAKE BETTER CHOICES AND I WILL WORKOUT EVERY DAY! Today I began by walking 30 minutes at 3.6 miles per hour with a 3% incline. I then ran 10 minutes at 5MPH (a 12 min mile). I felt dead after i was done, but ALIVE!
This is the first day of the rest of my life. I WILL weigh 185 pounds by July 1. So help me God!
