Oops! I fell a little behind on the blog! I promised myself that I would do this so I could keep track of my progress on the inside as well as the outside!
Day 2
I am sore! I went over to my girlfriends last night and made a super healthy dinner thanks to my mom :) Black Bean Sweet Potatoe Chili! I think next time I will add a small amount chicken and nix out the rice to save on the carbs and top with slices of avocado if they are looking good at the store. Didn't make it to the gym in the morning, but I did make time in the afternoon even though I had a busy day. It felt great to make time for myself and the workout cured the headache I had...great reward! Wednesday @ Jamba Juice you can get a delicious Oatmeal for $1...don't get the sugar it's sweet enough with the fruit. My girlfriend and I went for Sushi tonight...now that I have logged my calories I am going to have to make different choices! I exceeded the calorie intake I want to stay within. I am trying to stay around 1000.
Day 3
Ok I am walking like I have been riding a horse for days! Definitely sore but it feels great! Went to the gym and did my cardio in front of The RealHousewives of Orange County, actually stayed in the same machine for 30 min ;) Did my workout and I was outta there! Feeling good about my commitment to myself, my health, and getting back in shape. Had a girlfriends going away party so I know I had more calories than I can log but I behaved a only had a couple of the finger foods that I knew wouldn't be too bad.
