New Today...
Hi everyone,
I"m new to this site today. I have been using another site thay has been very helpful BUT I feel like it"s not doing enough for me. I have been making this life style change since Feb. 1st and so far have lost 13 lbs... I know losing weight slowly is the key, but I can't help to think I should have lost more by now.
I have been married for 10 years this year to a wonderful man who loves me just the way I am, but I am not LOVEING myself like I should. I am a mother of two wonderful kids a 7 and 4 year old, and all I want to do is to be happy with the person looking back at me in the mirror.
I need encouragement and motivation...

Although I completely agree with that statement, it's older than Kate Moss and really cannot be attributed to her...and sometimes I feel she lets herself get TOO thin.
Just some encouragment; welcome, you are surrounded by others who achieve and fail just as you do. Who get up every morning and just start AGAIN. A little at a time all the little successes we have add up to something we can see on the scale.
Congrats on your loss to date; that's a whole dress size! Although I have 30 lbs. to lose; I'm setting myself with 10 pound goals in four week spans of time. It's short term and managable. Although I didn't think it would work, my brain is somehow tricked into thinking June 7th 10 lbs...and now that 1/2 of that 10 lbs is off I feel like a tremendous success and I'm half way to my goal! (Instead of thinking ugh...5 lbs. 25 to go...too, too much.
