An Update...

So, it's been a couple weeks since my last update.
Things are going well. I've been dieting for 100 days. I've lost 37 lbs.
I've been on a bit of a break from my earlier really low carb diet.
I was starting to get tired easily. Getting some extra carbs seems to help in this regard.
A "bit" of a break is probably an understatement.
I'm still going to the gym pretty much 5 days a week.
And I am still logging all of my food (THIS IS THE KEY).
But, um... Well... I've been on this kick... I've been eating a bowl of iced cream for dinner every night for a week or so...
Kind of ridiculous - I know... But it's really yummy. :)
I am staying under my 1800 calories usually - I've only had 1 day where my balance (net calories) was not negative.
So, I'm losing weight still. Not fast. But still going in a downward direction and I'm making some pretty good strength gains at the same time.
Let's see - 7 months since I switched from smoking to smokeless. Almost 3 months of going to the gym frequently.
I'm up to over 800 FitClick points - which places me in the top 1250 or so. :)
It's finally starting to cool down outside - we got a bit of snow the other day. I'm still planning on trying out some cross-country skiing as soon as the snow gets here for good. Although, I still haven't bought skis.
Friday is date night with the wife - but starting on Saturday I think I will go back to low carbing until Christmas. So, no more iced cream dinners for a month or so. ;)
