DATING SUCKS ....When you're not a size "perfect"
Dating is scary at any age or weight.... but I think it particulary sucks when you are NOT a size "perfect". I want to lose weight for myself and not for some guy, but how do you date while on your weight loss journey? Do you wear a giant "under construction" badge across all of your wobbly bits?
Of course you may counter that "he should like you for you and not for what you look like" - but it's that first initial attraction that makes someone want to approach you, isn't it? How can they get to know the wonderful person inside without first dealing with the exterior?
Confidence is always attractive and can help tons, but when dealing with guys in their twenties - it's just so uncommon to come across. So i've tried: blind dates, online dating, going out to clubs, bars etc... and no such luck.
I know many guys are into bigger girls, but that's not what I want to be forever and I think that in and of itself is shallow because they exclude others based on physical attributes.
Maybe I am just being cynical because I have yet to find that special someone, but alone or with someone, skinny or fat, I would still feel the same.
