Description: A flavorful mingling of beef, pork, seasonings and spices in a light crust. Enjoy through Autumn into late Winter with a salad bursting with dried fruits and nuts.
Ingredients:  Makes 8 servings (8 slices)

Directions:  
Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.
Place one pie crust into pie dish after rolling out to desired thickness.
Set the other aside. Tip: Roll crust between parchment paper with a little flour.

Brown beef and sausage in skillet along with celery and onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain and set aside in a medium bowl. Season with allspice, cinnamon, cloves and sage.

Boil potatos (about 3 large), drain and hand mash in a large bowl.

Combine meat into potatos and mix together well.
If you wish a smooth filling blend it in a food processer.

Pile into pie plate and top with other rolled out crust, forming it around the filling. Use leftover pastry scraps to cut leaf shapes for decoration.

Beat egg and a little water to make an egg wash. Brush crust before baking.

45 minutes at 375 degrees. Enjoy
Cut slits into top crust for venting.
