Butter i still love you..
BUTTER "What are you using or have you cut it out of your diet?"--------- I use it in small amounts as a replacement to high fat olive oil when i can . I cook alot with 45 cal sesame oil..but as far as butter I have done Smart balance and my fav Country crock with calcium, as i won't leave it completely. Some sat fats seem to be unavoidable in this case . What have you tried or what do you personally like? I can try tofu based mayonnaise..i have used chicken stock in my sauteeing.. and replaced at times with coatings of greek non fat yogurt which is very good.

I don't use the butter replacers or any vegetable oils. I have been looking at research that is refuting the "heart healthy" label given to the vegetable oils in the past. I use real butter, olive oil and coconut oil.

Butter still better than hydrogenetedor/non hydrogenated margarines
I've been using margarine for a few years now and for the amount of times I have used it, haven't seen any real benefit to it. I've been researching margarine over butter and found that butter is much better for you in moderation which I went back on a year or so ago. The amount of preservatives and other stuff in margarine doesn't seem to compare with those of butter as a natural product, but to each his/her own.
