Candy
You know the answer. Don't bring candy home lol...! try to replace your candy weakness with fruit. The little candy shots are instant energy. Its the little boost we get when we eat candy and the body says more please. Start having fruit to give you your energy and it will last longer. The best way to resist something don't have it in the house. When you do want a treat only buy a personal package of candy.

Replace the candy for the kids too...
I don't have anything in the house anymore that I don't want to eat. Instead of chocolate bars the kids can have fiber one bars like me. Now is the time to show them what the good choices are.

My son told me he likes the FiberOne Chocolate Oat bars as much as a candy bar. Nice!

Try a small handful of raw almonds
I agree you should remove the temptation by not buying the candy in the first place, but fruit, while a far superior choice, is also very high in calories. Fruit is great for growing children, but for me, a small handful of nuts is very satisfying when I feel I need a sugar fix. Read the labels before buying granola bars - you'll find that many of them are no better than candy bars as far as nutrition and empty calories go.
