You can do it
I know for me things work when I'm really ready & want to do it for myself. Your screen name says it all. We all only have one life so we have to just start.

Have only good, healthy food in the house & think of your needs & the foods you will binge on if there. Have some nuts around & a 1/4 cup measuring cup so you don't eat too much.

Sorry for any typos. I'm writing this on my iPod Touch and the website font doesn't enlarge & I can't see what i've written. Their app won't install correctly so I have to use website.

You are worth it & your kids need you to take care of their mom! Just start doing it. The heck with motivation, it will come as you are doing it! Start today. Now. This minute. You can do it. My best, Nan

You have all the motivation you need already!
Do it for your daughter and yourself! You are your daughters number 1 role model. Show her it's important to treat yourself well and be healthy. Think of all you'll gain from a healthier you. Longer life, more energy, healthy body! Exercise will give you more energy, at first you might be tired, but a 30 minute walk will refresh you better than any cup of coffee. Start small, stay positive! Don't defeat yourself.

Stay in the race!!
Whatever you do, don't give up? I decided to start work out about 3 months ago and have lost 40 pounds already. I had to do it for myself, because I made every excuse not to do it, and had to start changing my thinking, and started thinking of ways to incorporate a daily exercise routine. I started off small, with only doing 15 min. a day and now I am doing almost 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. I work straight nights, get home and in the bed at 9am, up at 1pm and in the gym at 130pm for about 3 hours. My problem is that I can't turn my brain off. I know I need sleep, but my brain is telling to get up and get to the gym, so by Thurs. and Fri. of the week, I am exhausted. I know that 4 hours a day for sleep is not good for anybody whether you are exercising or not, but if I miss a workout routine I have so much guilt, my stomach is in knots. Now I don't have any children, nor am I in a relationship, but I am bacjk in school, so that also takes up my time, but I had to do it for myself. So whatever works for you, just do it and stick to it....It will get easier...
