Directions:  
Put vegetable stock, sea salt and black pepper in pan and bring to boil.
While it comes to a boil, put quinoa in a deep bowl and cover with cold water. Gently rub it between your palms for 5 to 10 seconds. Repeat.

You can eat it like this or use it in savory recipes. For sweet recipes, use plain water instead of vegetable broth and skip the black pepper.
ºQuinoa is coated with saponin, a bitter naturally occuring substance. It has been processed to remove this but this grain tastes much better if you wash it remove any residual saponin.
