1/8  teaspoon
 
1/8  teaspoon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mix together the flour, baking powder, splenda, cinnamon, shortening, and milk.

Add in the diced apple.

Divide into for flattened balls.

Bake for 15minutes.

While the fritters are baking, melt the butter and mix together all the ingredients for the icing.

Bring the olive oil to a boil. The oil should be deep enough such that the fritters are not in contact with the bottom of the pan.

Fry the fritters for 2-3minutes, until nicely browned.

Let the fritters cool, then coat them with the icing.
