Bacon wrapped scallops

1  serving		bite-size sea scallops [recipe]
12  slices		lean bacon, halved crosswise
1/4  cup		tamari

1.Remove the tough connective strap from the side of each scallop.
2.Bind together by wrapping a piece of bacon around each scallop and securing with a toothpick. Repeat with remaining scallops and bacon.
3.Pour soy sauce over the wrapped scallops; marinate 10 minutes.
4.Place wrapped scallops on a broiler pan; 4-inches from heat source. Broil until bacon is crisp, and scallops are cooked but still moist, 5 to 6 minutes. Turn once during cooking time.
