preheat oven to 350 and grease and flour a 9 by 13 inch pan

Mix all dry ingredients (except nuts, carrots, coconut and pine apple), make a well in the center and add sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Mix with wooden spoon until smooth

stir in carrots, coconut, walnuts and pineapple. Poor into 9 X 13 inch pan and bake for about 45 minutes. (the center will sink a little)

Allow to cool, when cool ice the cake. To make the frosting cream butter and cream cheese together, then slowly cream in the sugar until smooth.
