Directions:

In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, chopped scallion and all the spices together.

In another bowl, blend egg whites, melted butter and milk together. Pour into the dry ingredients. Mix well. The batter should be rather thick than running.

Prepare waffle maker. When it is ready, put 1/2 cup of batter in the middle and cook for 4 minutes or until golden brown.

Put the waffle on a wired rack. Repeat step 3 for the rest of batter.
