Directions:  
Pat the sliced potato dry with paper towels and put in a bowl with 1 1/2 tablespoons of canola oil. Toss gently with your hands to coat. Preheat the oven to 250C/480F. Place the fries on a baking tray in a single layer (not touching each other) and bake for 35 minutes in the center of the oven. Sprinkle with a little salt and serve immediately.
