Directions:  
dice onion and fry in bacon fat. Add shredded cabbage and cook until cabbage has wilted down a bit. Add water and vinegar. Cook for about and hour or untill cabbage is tender. Add more water if necessary. Add flour and cook for a few min longer to ticken. Add salt and pepper to taste. A Tbsp of Chicken soup base also works wel for flovour.
