My Spaghetti Sauce

1/4  cup		medium white onion, chopped
1/3  cup		large red pepper, chopped
1/3		large green pepper, chopped
200  grams		fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2  lb.		lean ground beef
100  grams		firm pressed tofu, diced quite small to resemble ground beef
213  mL		(7.5 liquid oz) can Primo Traditional Pizza Sauce
398  mL		14 oz Tomato Sauce, Hunt's Original
398  mL		14 oz Hunt's Stewed Tomatoes
1  tablespoon		Mazola Canola Oil
1/2  teaspoon		(L) Windsor Table Salt

1 Saute onion and both peppers in the tablespoon of oil until cooked but crunchy.
2. Add and saute mushrooms
3. Add ground beef and diced tofu. Saute until beef is cooked. (This small amount of beef will flavour the tofu and make it taste like beef.)
4. When meat mixture is cooked, add the tomatoes, and both sauces.
5. Let cook until needed. (Done in 15 minutes. As with most blended sauces, it improves upon standing.)
6. Serve over your favourite pasta.
