Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

On a large, heavy baking sheet toss all the vegetables, except tomatoes, with the oil and herbs. Bake until the carrots are tender and the vegetables begin to brown, about 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Stir in tomatoes for the last 5 minutes.

Meanwhile cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving a cup of liquid.

Toss the pasta with vegetables, add some pasta liquid to moisten, salt and pepper to taste, top with Parmesan. Serve immediately.
