Saute ginger and garlic in olive oil.
Add stew beef to sear all sides.
Add salt, pepper, and garam masala.
In slow cooker, combine chopped pepper, onions, rough chopped canned tomotoes, bay leaf, curry paste and cardamom pods. Stir well. Add beef mixture.
Cook in slow cooker for 6 hours.
