Description: Sweet bread flavored with cardamom and pearl sugar. Good for breakfast. Try toasted too!
Ingredients:  Makes 8 servings (16 slices)

1/2  teaspoon
 
 
2  tablespoons
 
3  cups
 
1/3  cup
 
1/4  ounce
 
3  teaspoons

Directions:  
Soften butter.
Put all ingredients (except last 2 egg whites) in bread machine and start dough cycle.
Remove dough, divide into 3 portions, roll each portion into long rope.
Braid 3 ropes together and tuck ends underneath.
Place on greased baking sheet, cover loosely with towel.
Allow to rise till doubled in size.
Oven at 375 degrees.
Brush braid with last 2 (beaten) egg whites and sprinkle with pearl sugar or other decorative sugar.
Bake in preheated oven till golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
