Put 5/8 cup water to boil

Once water has boiled, add 1/2 tbsp olive oil, salt and 1/2 cup uncooked couscous. Stir. ºNote - 1 cup couscous nutritional content above is based on cooked couscous

Cover and simmer for 8-10 mins until thoroughly cooked, stirring occasionally.
While Couscous Cooks

cut onion in half then thinly slice

thinly slice thawed sausages (cross-wise, so you have quarter sized pieces)

heat 1tbsp olive oil in skillet

sautee onions until starting to turn golden. Add balsamic vinegar and continue to sautee

add sausage and continue to sautee until browned

once couscous is fully cooked, stir into mixture and remove from heat.
