Brown ground beef or turkey with chopped onion.

When browned add to crock pot or dutch oven.

Stir in tomato soup, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, and beans.

Add desired amounts of salt and pepper and chili powder

Stir in brown sugar.

Let simmer (slow cook) in crock pot for 4-8 hours on low (The longer the better!).

If making on the stove, simmer on low for 30 to 60 minutes.

You may need or want to add more water, tomato juice or other liquids if you feel the chili is too thick.
