Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk & vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping side of bowl frequently.

Combine flour, salt & baking soda and beat into creamed mixture until blended.

Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased backing sheet.

Bake 8-10 min. (cookies will appear moist)

Cool on baking sheet 2 min. Remove to cooling racks.
