Life Changes

Hi, Nadine. I'm Jennifer. I feel your pain. My husband and I just moved to California from Iowa. After having lived in a laid back, friendly, respectful environment into a completely different environment (people are so impatient and very self-involved here and sales clerks are just the rudest I have ever met at any mall bar none! Wow. How do these stores make sales?!) I find it hard to adapt. I've moved around my whole life so I'm usually very adaptable, but the older I get the more set in my ways I become ~sigh~ Anyway, my husband and I found this really great church which is great. I don't know how "religious" you are, but sometimes finding a way to get healthy spiritual food is just as important as getting the healthy physical food and it may help with some of your negative feelings. BUT on the secular level, I also am very aware of the need for a "lifestyle change" buddy (I hate the word 'diet'. Yuck) So if you need one here I am.
