I started an entry about a week ago, trying to do the "numbers" with calories. Then I had a significant backlash...My mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I have severe chronic pain due to Fibromyalgia and other conditions with the weather dipping down to 0-9 degrees and blizzarding snow. I have been in significant pain on a level 8-9+. Needing medication to sleep, to slow the pain down, and to get body stress under control.
So now, I jumped on the scales today and found I gained weight: from 181 to 186. I absolutely REFUSE to go back to 280lbs. So I am starting over, starting slow and trying to do this right. Exercise is the most difficult for me. I have a hiatal hernia, split stomach muscles from my pregnancy of my daughter that never got fixed. I also have detriorating discs in my neck and shoulder area, as well as spina bifida (closed, but a sac is there), and cerebral Palsy. So, as you can see, I have problems doing much other than basic walking...I am needing exercise and needing to keep my food intake low.
I would welcome any support at this point. I am now taking something called "Energy Booster" from Swanson's Vitamins and it seems to help get me out of bed, be cognisant and functional, which when at a high level of pain, is EXCELLENT. Next to get some exercise, even if I have to get a foot pedal machine (which can work arms as well as legs). We don't have room for any other type of machine, and I am not allowed to lift heavy equipment from under the bed.
A little about me: I am a professional psychic, I love books, music (all kinds), games (not roll playing or computer interactive), being on Face Book, watching movies, hiking, watching nature, and being with people laughing, learning and being "people".
