Today I found fitclick and I love it! For the last two weeks I have been trying to be more health concious when it comes to what I've been eating.  I have also picked up the intensity level when I walk, I try to walk everywhere like I'm really late for an appt. when and where ever I go, be it to the mailbox or to a friends I am haulin' some serious ass!  I have also enlisted the help of a personal trainer www.wellnessprofitness.com and I will work out with her two times per week.  I plan to start up with soccer practices within the next few weeks, and I am going to try and do the cardio aspect on my own. So as of right now, my weekly plan is Friday and Monday evenings I will work out with my trainer, Tues, Wed, and Thurs. evenings I will try to do 30-60mins of cardio.  The weekends are my "me time" or my break from the exercise.  My cardio will be either on the eliptical or brisk walking for now, my knees aren't very good due to soccer injuries so we're taking it slow. I've done this yearly for the past 3 years. I get this great idea that I will be fit and in shape for the Easter weekend soccer tournament and I never follow through. I've done this since my son was born in 2006.  I either play injured or i give up and quit.  NOT THIS YEAR.  What has changed for me? Well last year was terrible for my health. The jist is that I developed diabetes due to pancreatitus and had my gallbladder removed, I spent 2009 learning to live with diabetes and without my gallbladder.  2010 will see me off my diabetes meds, and fit! My goals are to be 20lbs lighter  and soccer ready by April 2, 2010.  To keep fit during the summer including buying a new bathing suit.  July I hope to be at my goal size (27/28) and my goal weight of 150lbs. The remianing 6 months of the year will be learning to maintain my new healthy body! and to stay bikini ready for my family vacation to Mexico in November. So far this week, I did an hour of strength training on Monday, nothing yesterday (woops) and today I have tracked my diet and I plan to do my cardio this evening! WISH ME LUCK!
